With spring sports being canceled, the Tyler Morning Telegraph wants to profile East Texas seniors in those sports in a feature called “From the Sidelines”. Sports you play: Track and field

Favorite high school sports memory: My first track meet

Plans after high school: I plan to attend college after I graduate.

If college, what schools are you considering, and what do you plan to major in? UT Tyler, ACU, Embry-Riddle, Baylor University and Sam Houston. Either mechanical engineering or general studies.

Favorite song: My favorite song right now is 35.31 by Childish Gambino and my all time favorite song is Roundabout by Yes.

Favorite food: Chili cheese enchiladas

Favorite TV show: Legion or Happy!

Favorite movie: Evil Dead 2

Who are your role models?: My siblings

Which coaches have had the most influence on you? Why?: All of my coaches had equal influence on me. They all taught me a lot.

Who is your favorite teacher?: I can’t pick a favorite, they are all great. But my top ones are Mrs. McElroy, Mr. Cotto, Mrs. Cortes, Mrs. Grubagh, Mrs. Keene and Mr. Daniels.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?: Successful and working a decent job

Something about yourself that most people don’t know: Most people don’t know that I have a popcorn machine in my room.

What will you miss most about high school sports?: I will miss the people I’ve met and my experiences I shared with them.
