With spring sports currently suspended, the Tyler Morning Telegraph wants to profile East Texas seniors in those sports in a feature called “From the Sidelines”. Sports you play: Basketball (No. 0), baseball (No. 1), track and golf

Favorite high school sports memory: Going four rounds deep in this year’s basketball playoffs, and being the first team to do it since my coach played at our school.

Plans after high school: I plan on going to college to continue my dreams of becoming a college basketball player and eventually joining the first responders.

Favorite song: “223’s” by YNW Melly

Favorite food: Don Juan’s steak tacos, no cabbage, add sour cream and Queso Fresco

Favorite TV show: Wicked Tuna

Favorite movie: Rocky Balboa (all of them)

Who are your role models?: My mom, Paw Paw and Coach Johnson

Which coaches have had the most influence on you? Why?: Coach Akimba Johnson. This man has changed the way that I view life. The way he coaches is bigger than the game. He coaches the team to become great young men. #BulldogFast #Family

Who is your favorite teacher? Angie Greer, David Peacock and Virginia Foster

Where do you see yourself in 10 years? Fighting fires and saving lives.

Something about yourself that most people don’t know: I play International Basketball for Team USA, I can juggle, devil stick, play the drums and tumble.

What will you miss most about high school sports? I will miss all the great times my team and I had during practice and at games! #WeGotDogs #Quarters
