PROMOTED

Holly Shotts has been promoted to vice president – controller at Brookshire Grocery Co.Shottsjoined BCG in 1992. Shotts was named director of financial accounting in 2003. She was honored as one of Progressive Grocer magazine’s Top Women in Grocery for 2012. She earned her Bachelorof Business Administration in accounting from Southern Arkansas University and is also a certified public accountant.

 

DELEGATE

Tony K. Morgan, CPA/ABV/CFF managing partner, with the accounting firm of Gollob Morgan Peddy, PC was a delegate to CPAmerica International’s 2016 Leading Partners Retreat. The event brings together partners from member firms across the United States for networking, member sharing and continuing professional education. The agenda had a general focus on growth, including tactics and strategies, trends in the profession and an emphasis on member sharing.



 

HONORED

ETMC Tyler recently honored 134 team members with pins for their service, ranging from 10 to 40 years, at the semi-annual awards banquet at the ETMC Pavilion.

Evelyn Banks, housekeeping, and Paul Brooks, laundry, received their 40-year pins. Receiving 35-year pins were David Bell, surgical services; Sharon Mapp, RN, nursing services; and Evelyn Williams, information technology.

Caitlin Pennington, RN, nursing services, was recognized by the ETMC WOW! program for great customer service with the service hero award.

 

JOINED

Troy Bohl has joined the staff of Texas Bank and Trust as vice president and commercial lender in the Bank’s Tyler Grande location. Bohl was most recently a consultant in advisory services for Vizient Inc. in Dallas. Bohl holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance and real estate from the Hankamer School of Business at Baylor University.

 

ROUNDTABLE

On Oct. 4, 11 and 18, the UT Tyler Center for Family and Small Enterprises will hold a small business roundtable from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Hollytree Country Club. To register go to www.eventbrite.com. The event is $150 with dinner included.

 

DIGITAL TALKS 2016
