With spring sports being canceled, the Tyler Morning Telegraph wants to profile East Texas seniors in those sports in a feature called “From the Sidelines”. Favorite high school sports memory: Winning a football game by getting the game-winning interception. Being the anchor leg on the varsity 4×400 and winning comeback races.

Plans after high school: Attend college

If college, what schools are you considering, and what do you plan to major in? Nebraska Wesleyan University

Favorite song: “I Miss the Days” by NF

Favorite food: Cheeseburgers/pasta

Favorite TV show: Altered Carbon

Favorite movie: Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse

Who are your role models? My coaches and my parents

Which coaches have had the most influence on you? Why? Coach Cooper and Coach Rozell. They’ve been there for me when times were tough.

Who is your favorite teacher? Mr. Walton

Where do you see yourself in 10 years? As a Project and Design Engineer

Something about yourself that most people don’t know: Sometimes I go run in the middle of the night around 3 a.m. because I can’t sleep.

What will you miss most about high school sports? My coaches and friends.
