NEW CHAPEL HILL — The No. 9 Chapel Hill Bulldogs moved to 3-1 on the young season with an 87-37 win over the Marshall Christian Academy Guardians on Tuesday at Bulldog Gymnasium.

The ‘Dogs are still missing three starters from football team who are in the playoffs and a total of five players.
Jorden Ford had a triple double for Chapel Hill with 16 points (1 3-pointer), 10 steals and 12 assists. Isiah Mayfield had a double double wth 15 points and 14 rebounds.
Other Bulldog contributors were: Marquis Collins II (11 points, 8 steals), Ryder Steele (6 points), Anthony Smith (6 points, 3 blocks, 12 rebounds), Jordyn Bradshaw (21 points, 6 rebounds), Jarrett Cummings (4 points), Jaylon Ford (6 points, 3 steals) and Quantel Waggoner (2 points).
Others with 3-pointers were Bradshaw (2), Collins (1) and Jaylon Ford (1).
The Bulldogs will be back in action on Thursday in the Union Grove Invitational. Chapel Hill meets the Sabine Cardinals.
Mount Pleasant 48, Tyler Legacy 41

MOUNT PLEASANT — Jayden Jones scored 18 points but the Red Raiders dropped a road contest to Mount Pleasant, 48-41.
Jones also had five rebounds and three assists.
Ja’Corian Oes had 9 points, nine rebounds, five assists and two steals.
Other scorers were JP Rainer 5; Zyere Ceasar 4; Tyler Henry 3; and Josh Hall 2. Gage Nuckolls added five rebounds, and Rainer had two steals and two blocks.
Troup 55, Frankston 52
FRANKSTON — The Troup Tigers improved to 2-0 on the season with a 55-52 win over the Frankston Indians on Tuesday at Robert Lope Coliseum.
It was the opening game for the Indians.
Tre Anderson led the Tigers with 12 points, followed by Caden Graves (11), Keenan Foster (10), Carter Graves (8), Bryce McElroy (8) and Carson Davenport (6).
Carter Graves and McElroy each had two 3-pointers with one each by Caden Graves and Davenport.
Peyton Jaco led Frankston with 22 points, followed by Jake Westbrook (19), William Gentry (5), Brayden Madison (5) and Bill Brooks (1).
Jaco had four 3-pointers with three from Westbrook and one each by Gentry and Madison.
Troup won the JV game 59-39.
Troup is scheduled to visit Alba-Golden at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26.
Central 59, Bullard 56
BULLARD — Tyler Lamberth scored 21 points, but Bullard fell short against Central, 59-56.
Bullard trailed 16-12 after the first quarter, 28-21 at halftime and 42-40 after three quarters.
Dylan Kress scored 13 points, and Caden Cummings had 10. Luke Alexander scored 9 points, and Cade Craig added 5.
Jake Matthews led Central with 28 points, and Kaynin Poage had 12.
Union Grove 66, Carlisle 27
Chase Roland scored 8 points as Carlisle dropped a 66-27 decision to Union Grove.
Other scorers for Carlisle were Aidan Martin 7; Jaxon Goss 7; Ladarius Starling 3; and Brandon Garza 2. Garza added 11 rebounds, and Goss had six rebounds and two blocks.
