ROBINSON — Bullard belted four home runs, including two by Brooklyn Brannen, as the Lady Panthers defeated the Robinson Lady Rockets, 13-6, on Wednesday in Game 1 of a Class 4A Region III softball semifinal.

Game 2 is scheduled for 6 p.m. Friday in Bullard. If a third game is needed, it is slated for 4 p.m. Saturday in Midlothian.
Brannen hit a three-run homer in the second inning to give the Lady Panthers a 5-0 lead.
Mattison Nix and Baylie Walker each added two-run home runs.
After the Lady Rockets pulled within 5-2, Brannen hit a two-run homer in the fourth inning. The Lady Panthers tallied five runs in the inning for a 10-2 advantage. Entering the seventh inning, Robinson got within 10-6, but Bullard added three insurance runs.
Emery Baker added two doubles with Kenzie Roberts hitting a two-bagger. Dakota Payne had a single.
Brannen drove in five runs. Others with RBIs were Nix (2), Walker (2), Roberts (2) and Baker (1).

Scoring runs were Kirstin Malone (4), Brannen (2), Nix (2), Baker (2), Walker (1), Payne (1) and Kaylan Mercer (1).
Anistyn Foster got the win in the circle, going seven innings, giving up eight hits and six runs with six strikeouts and seven walks.
Robinson (32-8) was led by Peyton Richards’ home run. Raelynn Van Zee had three RBIs.
The winner of the Bullard-Robinson series advances to play either Liberty or Salado in the Region III final next week.
