WHAT HER COACH SAID

Maci was selected as a junior captain of the Bullard Belles Drill Team, earning this position based on many criteria such as team vote, teacher recommendations, grades and attendance, superb teaching ability to teammates, director(s) vote, excellent dance ability, interview with teammates and a panel of judges and much more. Maci is extremely passionate about dance and drill team and truly wants the best for the Bullard Belles. She sacrifices her time outside practice to ensure she is prepared for the next day. She is a confident and vocal leader, yet trustworthy and dependable. I have watched her encourage and help her teammates when they need help with a dance movement or routine. She makes time to help her teammates after school and practice if necessary. She also takes the initiative to help others with tasks such as pinning costumes, accessories, etc. She motivates the team daily with an encouraging chant or words of encouragement. After overcoming a major hip surgery during her freshman year, she continues to push herself in all areas and strives to be the best leader for her team.
