WHAT HIS COACH SAID

Senior Aden Johnson advanced to the 5A UIL State Swim Meet for a second time in the 100 butterfly and as a first-time competitor in the 200 freestyle and record-breaking 400 freestyle relay. Aden is a natural leader as team captain; he is confident, positive, respectful and encouraging to every team member of every swim level. He is kind and assertive but in a way that no athlete ever feels criticized. Aden takes leadership outside of athletics by being an editor of the Paw Prints Newspaper and is a member of NHS, engineering, and robotics teams and organizations. He is currently ranked fifth in his class of nearly 400 students and earned his early acceptance into Texas A&M University’s Engineering program.
