With spring sports being canceled, the Tyler Morning Telegraph wants to profile East Texas seniors in those sports in a feature called “From the Sidelines”. Favorite high school sports memory: We were playing a game in Bullard and we were in the huddle at the start of an inning and I felt something wet fall on me and turns out a bird had pooped on me.

Which coach had the biggest impact on you? Why? Coach Batten. She taught me how to be a team player and how to deal with adversity.
