With spring sports being canceled, the Tyler Morning Telegraph wants to profile East Texas seniors in those sports in a feature called “From the Sidelines”. Sports you play: Soccer, track and cross country

Favorite high school sports memory: Scoring the first home goal in school history.

Plans after high school: Attend TJC and complete my general requirements.

If college, what schools are you considering and what do you plan to major in? After completing TJC, I plan to attend the University of Houston and major in biology.

Favorite song: “7AM” Lil Uzi Vert

Favorite food: Fried Chicken Sandwich

Favorite TV show: Breaking Bad

Favorite movie: The Silence of the Lambs

Who are your role models?: My parents

Which coaches have had the most influence on you? Why? Coach Wayne Hall from FC Dallas was the best coach because he taught me a deeper understanding of the game, improved my technique and regained my passion for soccer.

Who is your favorite teacher? Mrs. Gibbs AP English I & II. She is easy to talk to, funny, and she found interesting and fun ways to teach English.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years? In 10 years, I see myself finishing up med school, starting my career and coaching youth soccer.

Something about yourself that most people don’t know: I enjoy cooking.

What will you miss most about high school sports? I will miss the late night games and bus rides home, along with all the memories I’ve made with my teammates and coaches.
