Brother/sisters: I have three younger brothers and one younger sister. Manuel, Ivan, Salvador and Ximena Valdivia.

Sports you play: Track & field and tennis.

Favorite high school sports memory: My favorite memory for track was going to a meet out of town. For tennis, it would be playing against or with my team.

Plans after high school: I plan to continue my education.

If college, what schools are you considering, and what do you plan to major in? I plan to stay in Tyler and I plan to major in business.

Favorite song: I don’t have a favorite song, but my favorite artists are Ozuna, Maluma, Bad Bunny, PnB Rock, A Boogie wit da Hoodie and Roddy Ricch.

Favorite food: I don’t have a favorite food, but I am picky.

Favorite TV show: Don’t have a favorite TV show.

Favorite movie: Don’t have a favorite movie, but I like watching comedy, action and thriller.

Which coaches have had the most influence on you? Why? Coach G and Coach Davis because even if I have failed, they tell me I did a good job and they have a positive attitude.

Who is your favorite teacher? It’s obviously Dr. Stewart.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?: I hope I see myself helping my parents’ business grow and traveling around the world.

What will you miss most about high school sports?: Competing with other schools and being together as a team.

Favorite high school sports memory: I’ll always remember the fun we used to have going out to eat after the away games.

Plans after high school: My plans are to attend TJC for General Studies. Play basketball there. Then, transfer to a four-year college nearby.

What do you plan to major in? Microbiology

Who are your role models? My parents and grandparents

Which coaches have had the most influence on you? Why? Coach Smith, he had a greater impact on me achieving my goals toward being successful.

Who is your favorite teacher? My English 3 teacher, Ms. Bryant-Williams

Where do you see yourself in 10 years? I can see myself helping patients in a hospital and more.

Something about yourself that most people don’t know: I’m the organist at Porter’s Chapel COGIC.

What will you miss most about high school sports? I’ll mostly miss joking around in the locker room with my homeboys.
