Who are your role models? Not really sure. I don’t have one specific person.
Which coaches have had the most influence on you? Why? I did gymnastics for a very long time and my parents coached me and they had a very big impact on me. They taught me the importance of hard work and putting all your effort into every workout. They also taught me to trust in a process; I might not see the benefits of it today or tomorrow but in a few weeks or months or a year I will be better for it. Since I have been running, though, Coach Ritter has been a big influence. He is always super positive and wants to help you be the best you can be. He also has taught me to trust the training as well.
Who is your favorite teacher? Mrs. Cook
Where do you see yourself in 10 years? In 10 years I hope to be working for the National Park Service making a positive impact in people’s lives as well as on the earth. I also hope to be running loads of road races and to have completed an IRONMAN triathlon!
Something about yourself that most people don’t know: I HATE JEANS!!!!!
What will you miss most about high school sports? I will miss the positive coaching and the support from peers.
