Favorite High School Sports Memory: My favorite sports memory is when we were sophomores and Mya played second base. She dove for a ball for the first time in a game and she was so excited she tried to throw the ball and it went behind her. It was the funniest thing I have ever seen!

Role Models: My Granny is definitely my role model. She has made me into the young woman I am today. Without her, I do not know where I would be.

Which coaches have had the most influence on you? Why? Coach Ripka and Coach Bouis have had the most influence on me. Coach Ripka is always so positive and always tries to keep our heads up when something isn’t going right. Coach Bouis holds me accountable when I am pitching. When we come in after three outs, she always pulls me to the side and says, “Where was that pitch supposed to be?”

Favorite teacher? My favorite teacher is Coach Ripka (My English teacher).

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?: In 10 years, I hope to be finished with school and working full time.

What will you miss most about high school sports? I will miss my teammates the most! We have all grown up together and grown so much as a team. The relationships I have built with each of them will last a lifetime.
