With spring sports being canceled, the Tyler Morning Telegraph wants to profile East Texas seniors in those sports in a feature called “From the Sidelines”. Sports you play: Baseball

Favorite high school sports memory: Beating Nacogdoches my junior year in playoffs.

Plans after high school: Attend Mary Hardin-Baylor, earn a degree and continue playing baseball.

If college, what schools are you considering, and what do you plan to major in? UMHB, business

Favorite song: “The Search” by NF

Favorite food: Hamburger pizza and garlic parmesan bites from Rotolo’s

Favorite TV show: Criminal Minds

Favorite movie: Miracle

Who are your role models? I admire all of my family, but I admire my grandpa Bob and my dad the most.

Which coaches have had the most influence on you? Why? Coach Justin Lee, because he taught me how to play the game well at a young age and my high school coach, Coach Sanguinetti, because he has been with me for four years and has taught me so many valuable lessons both on and off the field.

Who is your favorite teacher? Mrs. King

Where do you see yourself in 10 years? I see myself starting a family with my wife and owning a business.

Something about yourself that most people don’t know: My first name is my mom’s maiden name.

What will you miss most about high school sports? I will miss playing with my teammates because these are more than just my friends but family.
