With spring sports currently suspended, the Tyler Morning Telegraph wants to profile East Texas seniors in those sports in a feature called “From the Sidelines”. Favorite high school sports memory: Having family dinner nights with my softball team

Plans after high school: Attend UT Dallas to continue playing softball

What do you plan to major in? Major in speech pathology and audiology to become a speech therapist

Favorite song: “Congratulations” by Post Malone

Favorite food: Chicken Alfredo

Favorite TV show: “The Office”

Favorite movie: “The Great Gatsby”

Who are your role models? My older sister and my mom.

Which coaches have had the most influence on you? Why? Coach Chitty has had the biggest impact on me. He always pushes me to be the best and he believes in me even when I don’t believe in myself. Also Coach Mckvey, she always had the wisest advice and made us realize that some things are bigger than sports.

Who is your favorite teacher? Mrs. Sauseda and Mrs. Key

Where do you see yourself in 10 years? Hopefully working as a speech therapist. I’d love to be coaching a little league team also!

Something about yourself that most people don’t know: I love books and reading.

What will you miss most about high school sports? I’ll miss the bonds I’ve created with my teammates and the underclassmen over the last four years. I’ve grown up with most of these people my entire life.
