Texas College is presenting paintings by Benny Andrews in February to coincide with Black History Month.

Andews is known for paintings that tell stories of social injustice and the struggle for rights, including scenes from the Civil Rights movement and

war protests, said an announcement from the

college.

The exhibition will be on view 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays at the college’s D.R. Glass library, the announcement said.
