List of Haunted Houses and fun activities in East Texas

It’s time for one of the most frightfully fun weekends of the year. East Texas will celebrate Halloween with a cauldron of special events — many of which are kid friendly.

From the really, really scary to the only slightly spine-tingling, here is a list of more than 20 activities to enjoy this Halloween week.

 

HAUNTED HOUSES

Terror Nights Haunted House at 806 E. Oakwood in Tyler will be open 7 p.m. to midnight on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. For more information, go to terrornightshaunt.com.



Graystone Haunted Mansion at 13481 Farm-to-Market Road 968 near Longview will be open 7 p.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday. It offers three attractions and a midway. For more information, go to graystonehaunt.com.

Kilgore College Chorale presents the “Theaterror Fright House” at the old Crim Theatre, 112 S. Kilgore St., in Kilgore 7 p.m. to midnight Thursday and Friday.

Warehouse of Terror, Highway 80 at Wigley in Mineola, offers thrills and chills 7:30 to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

The acting troupe MorningStars Inc. sponsors The Haunting, a family friendly haunted attraction at 417 W. McDonald in Mineola 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

Four Winds Renaissance Faire, located off Highway 110 between White-house and Troup, transforms into a haunted attraction 7 to 10 p.m. Friday.
