B-Fit Tyler to offer free fitness boot camp for food donations

The donation of a can of food is worth a free fitness boot camp at B-Fit Tyler from Nov. 23 through 25 and Nov. 27, owner Johnny Barrera said.

The “Turkey-Busting Workouts” event will benefit the East Texas Food Bank.

“We’re planning on making this an annual tradition here, because Thanksgiving is such a wonderful family and friends holiday, and a time to show our appreciation for all we have, especially our health,” he said.

B-Fit Boot Camp is open to all Tyler residents, their family and friends, for a donation of canned goods – but even those who aren’t able to donate are welcome.

“All that we ask is that folks register in advance at www.bfittyler.com so we can be sure we have enough equipment on hand to accommodate everyone,” Barrera said. “Boot camp is perfect for all folks regardless of age or fitness level – we make everyone feel welcome and customize the workouts so everybody gets what they need.”

B-Fit Boot Camp Turkey-Busting Workouts will be held at 212 Old Grande Blvd., Suite C-102. That’s behind Traditions at Salon Kalea.

“We anticipate a great turnout because folks enjoy working out with family, friends and friendly people,” Barrera said. “And because we’re supporting a great cause, the East Texas Food Bank, it’s a great way for us to give thanks for our health, our families, friends and good fortune, and help others who are less fortunate at the same time.”
