All Saints Episcopal School hosted a themed picnic, which included Sunkist, Capri Sun and SunnyD for beverages and Moon Pies, Sun Chips and grilled cheese sandwiches for snacks.

While the students waited for the totality with their themed snacks, they also enjoyed a variety of activities, such as crafts and games, such as a Moonwalk challenge (Michael Jackson style) and an orbit contest (who can keep a hula hoop in orbit the longest).

Many of the students simply enjoyed hanging out with their friends and occasionally checking out the sky with the eclipse glasses.

“I just hope that they will remember being at this exact spot with their friends when they got to see the total eclipse happen,” said Headmaster Mark Desjardins. “It’s a wonderful thing for us all to experience.”
