Country Meat Market, local lawyer Chad Parker partner to give away free hams

Country Meat Market in Tyler gave away hundreds of free hams to the community Saturday.

The Tip Top Quality Product hams were available Saturday afternoon until supplies ran out. At least 400 hams were given away.

The hams were distributed by East Texas personal injury lawyer Chad Parker in front of the Country Meat Market.

While at least 400 hams were given away, Parker wishes he could give even more.

“I am sorry if you did not get a ham today. I am trying to figure out how to give on a mass scale. It’s hard,” Parker said in a Facebook post. “A lot are in need and I will help for as long as I can. Hopefully bigger and more. BIG thanks to Country Meat Market, Steve, Tyler PD and Constable Dunklin.”

Country Meat Market is located at 2310 E. Front Street in Tyler. Tip Top is Country Meat Market’s sister company.
