Patriots softball doubleheader against Pioneers moved to April 22

Sunday’s April 6 softball doubleheader between No. 3 UT Tyler and Texas Woman’s has been moved to April 22 due to the extended rain in the Tyler area this weekend, school officials announced.

The two teams will play in Tyler at 2 and 4 p.m. on April 22 at Irwin Field.

The two teams will play on Tuesday, April 8, as scheduled in Denton. That doubleheader is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.
