Winona ISD students dismissed due to power outage

Winona ISD students are being released early Tuesday morning due to an outage.

Superintendent Damenion Miller said the outage is impacting the city as a whole. Because of this, all students are being dismissed as soon as possible.

Parents are encouraged to pick up their children as soon as possible. Buses will be available between 10 to 11 a.m.

“We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding,” Miller said.
