AMBER Alert canceled for 12-year-old Kaufman County boy

This alert has been canceled.

An AMBER Alert has been issued for a child in Northeast Texas.

Connor Young, a 12-year-old Black boy, is missing from the Heartland in Kaufman County. He was last seen July 4 in the 2800 Block of Lolita Way.

Police say Dorcas Young, 42, is the person he was last seen with. A Black 2023 GMC Yukon is the suspect vehicle. The license plate number is SNH9831.

Call the Crandall Police Department at 469-376-4500 if you have any information. If you see the missing child or suspect, call 911 immediately.

AMBER Alerts inform the public of serious child abductions, in an effort to promote tips and leads to law enforcement. In memory of the tragic death of Amber Hagerman, the letters of her name can be seen within the title of the program, America’s Missing: Broadcast Emergency Response (AMBER).
