The 10th annual East Texas Gold Run took place Saturday at Bergfeld Park, drawing participants from all over the region to raise awareness and funds for childhood cancer support. The event, organized by the East Texas Gold Network, celebrated both the community’s commitment to fighting childhood cancer and the inspiring stories of young survivors. Runners of all ages donned gold attire, a symbol of solidarity and hope, as they participated in various race categories, from fun runs to more competitive distances.
