12-year-old Nacogdoches child found safe after AMBER Alert

A 12-year-old Nacogdoches child has been found safe after an AMBER Alert was issued when police say she was allegedly abducted in Nacogdoches.

The child, Roselyn Smith, has been found safe as of 6:40 p.m., police said.

She went missing in the area of Tangleberry Street and Tanglewood Street in Nacogdoches. 

“The missing child has been located safe. We are in the process of reuniting her with family. We do not have any further information at this time,” Nacogdoches Police Department said on its Facebook page.
