Within the elegant halls of Willow Brook Country Club on Friday evening, 91st Texas Rose Festival Queen Frances Olivia Faulconer and Princess Merritt Elizabeth Dial graciously welcomed local residents, heralding the commencement of the 91st Texas Rose Festival.

The annual kickoff party is held every July ahead of the October festival. Parade participants come into town to practice ahead of the festival’s highly-anticipated events, such as the Queen’s Coronation.

Events will go on from Oct. 17-20. General public ticket sales begin on Sept. 3.
