Expect road closures for Texas Rose Festival Parade

Front Street from Palace to Glenwood will be closed at 6 a.m. Saturday Oct. 21 due to the Texas Rose Festival Parade set to begin at 9 a.m. and last through 11 a.m.

Glenwood will be closed from Houston to Front Street. At 7:45 a.m. Front Street will be closed from Palace to Lyons and Glenwood closed from Houston to Erwin. Handicap parking for the event will be located at Mike Carter Field.

Any late participants will not be permitted to access the parade route and will be directed to the staging locations.

The parade begins at 9 a.m. Saturday, traveling from Front Street and will end up in Christus Trinity Mother Frances Rose Stadium. 

Viewing along the parade route is free. Reserved seating tickets are $10. For more information, visit www.texasrosefestival.com.
