PHOTOS: Best Preps Tyler 2023 winners

Mineola's Dawson Pendergrass (center) was presented the CHRISTUS Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Institute Male Athlete of the Year Award from TJC women's basketball coach Trenia Tillis Hoard and Dr. William Hobbs, Christus Orthopedic Sports Medicine Insitute Chairman, on Tuesday during Best Preps Tyler 2023 presented by Peters Autosports at Green Acres Baptist Crosswalk Center. 

Student-athletes from 18 schools, along with their family and coaches, filled the Green Acres Crosswalk Center on Tuesday night for the fifth annual Best Preps Tyler presented by Peters Autosports.

The event honors the best and brightest student-athletes in the Tyler area.
