Celebration of the 89th Texas Rose Festival will continue throughout the end of the month as the Goodman-LeGrand Museum hosts its Tyler’s Old Rose Dress Display from Days Gone By, featuring a number of vintage costume gowns.
The display includes eight dresses worn by previous ladies-in-waiting, ranging from 1958 to 2019. A special 2019 dress that represents Scarlet O’Hara from “Gone with the Wind,” made in 1939 which is the same year the Goodman-LeGrand home was given to the City of Tyler.

The dresses will continue to be on display from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday until Oct. 29.
Admission is free, but a suggested $2 donation per person will go toward the day-to-day operation of the museum. Groups of 10 or more must pay the $2 per person fee.
