Bishop Gorman names Michael Holochuck as new head baseball coach

Michael Holochuck is the new head baseball coach at Bishop Gorman.

Michael Holochuck has been named the new head baseball coach at Bishop Gorman Catholic School.

“We are thrilled that Mike is joining us at Bishop Gorman,” interim athletic director Monica Davis said. “He has the energy, expertise and enthusiasm to advance our baseball program.”

Holochuck compiled a 229-189 record as the head baseball coach at Jarvis Christian College. He also runs Marucci Elite East Texas and he coached at Texas College, as well.

“I am excited to be joining a family here at Bishop Gorman that has a long history of excellence, that prides itself in the classroom, on the field and in the community,” Holochuck said. “I am looking forward to working with these student-athletes and turning them into future leaders and winners in life.”

For Baseball, Gorman competes in TAPPS Division IV District 2 with Plano Coram Deo, McKinney Cornerstone Christian, Dallas Lutheran, Dallas Lakehill Prep and Lucas Christian.
