June 20: Tyler native Laci Kay stars in TV movie ‘The Incybers’

On this date in 2010, Laci Kay (who also performs as Laci Mercedes) starred in  ‘The Incybers,” a TV movie about tiny electronic beings who live in computers.

 She was born in Tyler and her family lived in Whitehouse when she was a child before moving to California. 

 Kay received praise for her portrayal of a girl with narcolepsy who discovers she has a special talent in the 2012 short film “Olivia.”
