A Frontier Airlines Airbus lands at Tyler Pounds Regional Airport.

After coming to Tyler last July, Frontier Airlines will soon suspend its services at the Tyler Pounds Regional Airport.

Frontier Airlines, a Denver-based airline, said it will end operations at the Tyler airport in April due to a lack of sufficient demand to support its service, according to a statement from the airline.

“We greatly appreciate the partnership and support we have received from the airport and community and will continue to evaluate the potential for future opportunities,” Frontier Airlines said in the statement.

Frontier Airlines started offering flights from the Tyler airport to Denver International Airport in July. The airline came to Tyler after reconstruction and rehabilitation of a runway in 2018.
