The displayed artwork ranged from triple-exposure photographs to mixed media mosaics.
Stephanie Franklin, city of Tyler Managing Director, said the amount of people involved in Gallery Main Street has grown over the years and that having quarterly exhibitions has created a space for up-and-coming artists to showcase their work.
During the reception Franklin announced plans for the gallery to upgrade to a new, larger space in Plaza Tower, with hopes of moving in by November.
Gallery Main Street will be partnering with Heart of Tyler and Visit Tyler in their new location, creating one collaborative space for visitors to gather information and view local art.
