Services for Debra “Debbie” Kaye Nilson, 55, of Tyler will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Tyler Gospel Chapel with Sr. Pastor B.R. Brown and Pastor John Kennedy officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Cemetery in Tyler under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home. Mrs. Nilson passed away Monday, October 8, 2018 at her home in Tyler. She was born May 11, 1963 in Houston to Leon Author Spear and Wanda Faye Vick Spear. Debra was a member of Tyler Gospel Chapel. She graduated from Nimitz High School. She was Owner/Operator of Little Caesars in Whitehouse, TX. Debra was preceded in death by her father, Leon Spear. She is survived by her loving family including her husband of 34 years, Michael Nilson; daughter, Bridget Lewis and husband Daniel; sons, Brian and Brandon Nilson; mother, Wanda Vick; grandsons, Stephen “Tripp”, Jake, and Zachary Lewis; and brother, Donel Spear. Visitation is scheduled from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 12, 2018 at Tyler Gospel Chapel, 10195 St. Hwy. 31 E, Tyler, TX 75705.
