- Water is made available at the Tyler Public Library on Friday.
It’s hot out there and temperatures don’t look to be coming down any time soon.
With actual temperatures expected to hover near 100 and “feels like” temperatures inching past that, area residents might be in need of a way to cool off.

The Tyler Public Library, one of the designated cooling stations in the city’s heat response plan, on Friday was offering bottled water in a cooler inside the lobby.
Area residents trying to beat the heat can cool off in the air conditioning of the library or other designated cooling stations such as the mall, movie theaters and local fire stations.
Temperatures are expected to remain in the high 90s to 100 for at least the next week.
