East Texans enjoy sunny, warm days

East Texans of all ages took advantage Thursday of a return to warm temperatures and clear skies across the region to get outside for some fun.

The thermometer read in the mid- to upper-70s across most of the region with a continued period of dry air moving through the area. Conditions are anticipated to remain unchanged at least through this week.

The warmer, dry weather which has returned to Texas, and much of the region is predicted to continue through the weekend with a chance of rain to start off next week, according to the Weather Underground website.
