Sharon Shrine Circus announces annual tour dates for East Texas

Sharon Shrine Circus will present shows in Lufkin, Nacogdoches, Carthage, Longview and Tyler in its annual tour through East Texas beginning Sept. 1 in Lufkin. The schedules includes three shows set for The Oil Palace in Tyler, Sept. 5 through 7.
The show, a traditional three-ring circus, features the performers and daredevils of the Jordan World Circus. It includes aerial, balancing and comedy acts and animals trainers working with tigers and elephants.

Tickets can be purchased in advance through the circus’s website, thejordanworldcircus.com and will be sold at each venue before performances.
Sharon Shrine Temple is based in Tyler. The Shriners raise money to support the Shriners Hospitals for Children, which provide care to children with orthopedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries and palate deformities.

Sept. 1: 7 p.m., George Henderson Expo Center, 1200 Ellen Trout Drive, Lufkin;
Sept. 2: 7 p.m., Nacogdoches Expo Center, 3805 Northwest Stallings Drive, Nacogdoches;
Sept. 3: 7 p.m., Carthage Rodeo Grounds, 127 Rodeo Drive, Carthage;
