Lady Raiders top Mesquite

The Robert E. Lee Lady Raiders scored a 3-0 win over Mesquite in a District 12-5A volleyball match Friday at the REL Varsity Gymnasium.

Lee (24-14) won 25-14, 25-20, 25-20.

Leaders for the Lady Raiders were Rebekah Bowden (9 kills, 3 blocks), Claire Himes (8 kills), Taylor Winchester (20 digs), Nicole Trpkosh (8 digs, 13 assists), Genesis Borens (15 assists), Mallori Dike (2 aces) and Dajah Thompson (2 blocks).

REL returns to play on Tuesday, traveling to Mesquite to meet North Mesquite.
