Searching for her own lake property is what brought Dana Staples to the field of East Texas real estate.

She is a 1982 graduate of the University of Texas at Tyler with a bachelor of business administration in accounting and is a second-generation Realtor.

Staples began selling real estate in the Flint area in 2005 and opened Lake Palestine Real Estate Inc. in March 2007. It became one of the Top Ten United Country Offices in the nation by 2009 and has continued that success with the construction of the waterfront Lake Palestine office in 2010.

Matching people to a property that fits their dream is what Staples enjoys most, with a focus on lifestyle properties such as lake, golf course and vacation homes.

She is an Accredited Luxury Home Specialist and has been recognized as a DFW Five Star Real Estate Agent 2011-2017.

Dana opened a second location in Palestine at the beginning of 2017, operating as Staples Property Group LLC. Her East Texas roots run deep in the Palestine area — she has enjoyed serving on the Palestine Independent School District Board of Trustees for 14 years and is a proud supporter of public schools.

Staples Property Group LLC brought its expertise and friendly reputation to Tyler by opening its third location at 2344 Dueling Oaks, and her staff has expanded to include a commercial real estate division.
