The Internet got it wrong, again

Ok, before you get all riled up, it never happened.
I know, it is hard to believe something on social media would be fake, but trust me on this one, the Feds have not created some minimum age for youth hunters.

According to the fake post from something called the BostonTribune.com, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service created a nationwide minimum age for hunters at 18.
No they did not and no they cannot. This is definitely something up to individual states, and in most cases there is no minimum age. That is the case in Texas where it is up to parents to decide.
Some Canadian provinces do have a minimum age limit of 12.
So rest easy and take the Internet with a grain of salt. Except this post. It is the truth. I promise.
