Clara Nell Miller

TYLER — Services for Clara Miller, 88, of Tyler, will be held on Friday, May 24, 2024, at 2:30pm in the Chapel of Jackson’s Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Calaway and Rev. Robert Carter officiating. Burial will follow at Cathedral in the Pines Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled from 6:00-7:30pm on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at Jackson’s Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home.

Clara Miller passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024 in Tyler, TX. She was born on November 26, 1935 in Tyler, Texas to the late Lee Earl McCaslin and Juanita McCaslin Dugger. Clara has lived in the Tyler area for most of her life. She worked for Don Hill Construction Company and RPR Construction Company in accounting and attended Pine Springs Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Miller, and sister, Betty Rinehart. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Gordon Miller & Beth Heffington Miller of Athens; daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Glen Hutson of Frisco; four grandchildren, Jessica Miller, Jacob Miller, Paul Hutson, and Julie Dykema, wife of Jake Dykema and by three great-grandchildren, Cal, Cora, and Clara Dykema, and two brothers and their spouses, Gilbert and Pat McCaslin, and Bill and Lynn McCaslin.
