Injuries reported in stairwell collapse at UT Tyler

Injuries have been reported after a stairwell collapse at the University of Texas at Tyler on Monday afternoon, an official confirmed.

During a planned demolition of a stairwell on the UT Tyler campus, three construction workers were injured during an incident, Beverley Golden, associate vice president of strategic communications and media relations for the university, told our news partners at CBS19.

The injuries are not life-threatening, Golden tells CBS19.
