We chatted with Erica Bethe Levin, the founder of Globowl, a new organic line of children’s food that specializes in internationally influenced flavors.
What is Globowl?
Today’s busy parents want baby and toddler food that staves off picky eating, mitigates allergies, and embraces the diverse cultures and flavors of the world. Globowl’s internationally inspired, shelf-stable and convenient meals meet parents’ needs, shaping the palates and hearts of future foodies. With an eye towards inclusivity and interconnection, Globowl delivers delicious, culturally-rich tastes to kids’ palates from their very first bites.
Why did you feel a need to start this business?
Trending
Like many new parents, I took a cautious approach to introducing my firstborn, Charlie, to new foods. Not surprisingly, he became a picky eater. With my second child, Neve, I introduced her to every spice, flavor and ingredient early on. What a difference! Neve devoured it all. I went online and to grocery stores to see what globally-inspired meals were out there for kids, and found… nothing. So I got to work and launched Globowl, an internationally influenced baby and toddler food company, inspiring the foodies of tomorrow.
Where can we buy it?
Globowl meals can be purchased in Chicago at WhatsGood, 1712 N. Halsted Street, and can also be pre-ordered at theglobowl.com.
What’s next?
A passionate foodie and entrepreneur, I plan to spark in kids a lifelong love of flavor through Globowl’s delicious and nutritious meals. In 2022, Globowl will be available for purchase in more grocery stores nationwide and online at theglobowl.com.
