Sammi is a 2-year-old, 59-pound Labrador/Shepherd mix who was rescued from a life of neglect. She was abandoned and left to starve. Sammi has been spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated, and she will soon undergo heartworm treatment. She enjoys the company of other dogs and has no issues with them. Sammi is very sweet and loving and, although she’s only 2, acts much more mature. She’s just waiting for the right person to come and take her home.

Keith is an incredibly sweet 6-pound, 1-year-old Chihuahua mix who was rescued from a heartbreaking cruelty case. He, along with many others, was left to starve for days, completely forgotten. Despite everything he’s been through, Keith is affectionate, gentle, and loves being around people. He gets along well with other friendly dogs and, although he hasn’t met cats, he would most likely be fine with them. Keith will need someone to help teach him basic manners and housebreaking. He truly deserves to know warmth, kindness, and security.

Garth is a 1-year-old Dachshund mix with the most soulful eyes. He’s an affectionate and gentle pup who loves being around people. Garth is still very young and is full of energy, curiosity, and playfulness. He is good with other dogs but is cautious around new ones until he gets to know them. Life didn’t start well for Garth — he was abandoned, starved, and neglected before being rescued. Now that he’s made a full recovery, Garth is ready to find a loving home. He’s working on basic manners and housebreaking and will thrive with a consistent routine. If you’re looking for a loving, loyal, and fun dog, Garth is the perfect fit.

O.J. is a 2-year-old Domestic Shorthair mix who was surrendered to the SPCA of East Texas. He needs a little time to warm up, but once he does, he’s a total love bug. O.J. will make you earn his trust, but once he feels comfortable, he’s affectionate and cuddly. He would do best in a home with other cats, as he enjoys their company. O.J. is also good with dogs, as long as they’re friendly.

Wicket is an adorable Domestic Shorthair mix with an estimated birth date of July 1, 2024. He was found as a stray near Rose Rudman Park and is ready to find a family of his own. Wicket has been neutered, microchipped, and is up-to-date on vaccinations. He’s litterbox trained and needs an indoor home. Wicket is very friendly and affectionate with people and loves to be petted more than playing with toys. While he hasn’t been introduced to dogs, he doesn’t seem bothered by other cats.
