Lamar Jackson threw for 290 yards and five touchdowns, including a pair of scores to Rashod Bateman, to boost the visiting Baltimore Ravens to a 35-14 win against the skidding New York Giants on Sunday in East Rutherford, N.J.

Baltimore (9-5) stayed in the thick of the AFC playoff hunt while moving one game back of AFC North-leading Pittsburgh in the win column with the Steelers in action later Sunday.

Jackson had more TDs than incompletions, finishing 21-for-25 passing before yielding to backup Josh Johnson.

The Giants remained winless at home this season and still are stuck in transition at quarterback. Back at QB after Drew Lock (heel) was injured against New Orleans last week, Tommy DeVito suffered a concussion late in the second quarter and was ruled out. DeVito was 10-for-13 passing for 68 yards while getting sacked twice. Tim Boyle completed 12 of his 23 pass attempts for 123 yards with a touchdown and interception in relief. His 23-yard TD strike to Malik Nabers with 6:36 left capped the scoring.

Baltimore’s Derrick Henry rushed 14 times for 67 yards. New York’s most recent nine-game losing streak came in 2019.

BILLS 48, LIONS 42: Josh Allen passed for two touchdowns and rushed for two more and the visiting Buffalo Bills halted Detroit’s franchise-record 11-game winning streak with a 48-42 victory over the Lions on Sunday.

Allen, who has 10 total touchdowns in the last two games, passed for 362 yards and rushed for 68 yards. James Cook rushed for 105 yards and two touchdowns for the Bills (11-3).

Jared Goff passed for 494 yards and matched his career high of five touchdowns for the Lions (12-2). Amon Ra St. Brown caught a touchdown while establishing career bests of 14 passes for 193 yards.

The teams combined for 1,080 yards. Buffalo had 559, Detroit totaled 521.

The Bills led 21-14 at halftime.

BRONCOS 31, COLTS 13: The Denver Broncos’ defense shut out the visiting Indianapolis Colts in the second half as it forced five turnovers and scored a touchdown in a 31-13 win on Sunday.

Bo Nix completed 20 of 33 passes for 130 yards and threw three touchdowns and three interceptions for Denver (9-5). Anthony Richardson was 17-of-38 passing for 172 yards with a rushing touchdown and two interceptions for the Colts (6-8). Adam Trautman, Nate Adkins and Courtland Sutton caught touchdowns for the Broncos.

Brandon Jones and Patrick Surtain II had interceptions while Nik Bonitto and D.J. Jones recovered fumbles. In a game marred by turnovers, the Broncos overcame three of their own. It was a pair of big plays that turned the game for Denver. Marvin Mims’ 60-yard punt return set up Nix’s 15-yard touchdown pass to Adkins as Denver took its first lead of the game at 17-13 early in the fourth quarter.

On the Colts’ next drive, Bonitto sniffed out an Indianapolis trick play that featured a double pass. He caught the backwards pass and returned it 50 yards for a touchdown and a 24-13.

JETS 32, JAGUARS 24: Breece Hall ran for a 1-yard touchdown with 1:05 left as the visiting New York Jets rallied in the fourth quarter for a 32-25 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. Hall’s run capped a 70-yard drive that featured two critical connections between Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams.

The duo hooked up for third-down hits of 23 and 41 yards that got the ball just shy of the end zone, teeing up Hall’s winning score. Rodgers finished 16-of-30 passing for 289 yards and three scores, finding Adams nine times in the second half for 198 yards and a pair of touchdowns. It was just the second win in 11 games for the Jets (4-10). Jacksonville had a chance to force overtime on its last possession but Mac Jones’ deep pass down the left side was intercepted by Sauce Gardner at the New York 13 with 37 seconds left, dropping the Jaguars to 3-11.

Jones completed 31 of 46 attempts for 294 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions, hitting rookie Brian Thomas Jr. 10 times for 105 yards and two scores.

Kicker Cam Little added four field goals, including a 43-yarder with 1:51 remaining that evened the score at 25.

COMMANDERS 20, SAINTS 19: Jayden Daniels threw two touchdown passes to Terry McLaurin and the visiting Washington Commanders held on to defeat the New Orleans Saints 20-19 on Sunday afternoon. Daniels completed 25-of-31 passes for 226 yards without an interception and rushed 11 times for 66 yards, but was sacked eight times.

McLaurin finished with seven catches for 73 yards, and the Commanders (9-5) held on when a Saints two-point conversion pass failed with no time left. Second-year quarterback Jake Haener made his first NFL start in place of injured Derek Carr and completed 4-of-10 passes for 49 yards with an interception in one half for the Saints (5-9). Rookie Spencer Rattler, who was 0-3 while starting place of Carr due to a different injury earlier in the season, relieved Haener to start the second half and completed 7-of-16 passes for 118 yards and a touchdown.

Rattler threw a 1-yard TD to Foster Moreau as time expired, but his ensuing conversion pass failed. The Commanders received the second-half kickoff and drove to the New Orleans 1, but on third and goal, Daniels was sacked by Cameron Jordan. Greg Joseph kicked a 23-yard field goal that gave Washington a 17-0 lead. Rattler replaced Haener on the ensuing possession and completed 2-of-4 passes for 51 yards. Wide receiver Cedrick Wilson threw a 21-yard touchdown pass to Alvin Kamara, trimming the deficit to 17-7 at the end of the quarter.

On the first play of the fourth quarter, Joseph kicked a 41-yard field goal to push the lead to 20-7. Blake Grupe kicked a 41-yard field goal then a 51-yarder to cut the lead to 20-13 with 6:57 left. Joseph missed a 54-yarder, giving the Saints the ball at their 44 with 1:56 remaining, and Rattler drove them to the final touchdown.

On Washington’s first possession, Daniels threw a 16-yard touchdown pass to McLaurin for a 7-0 lead that held up through the end of the first quarter. Daniels and McLaurin hooked up for a 3-yard scoring toss in the second quarter to take a 14-0 halftime lead.

EAGLES 27, STEELERS 13: Jalen Hurts passed for two touchdowns and ran for one Sunday as the Philadelphia Eagles beat the visiting Pittsburgh Steelers 27-13 for their franchise-record 10th consecutive win.

Reportedly playing with a broken finger on his left (non-throwing) hand, Hurts completed 25 of 32 passes for 290 yards with TDs to A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith. He ran for 45 yards and his 14th rushing TD of the season.

The Eagles (12-2) leaned on a passing game that was under fire all week amid drama regarding the relationship between Hurts and Brown (eight catches for 110 yards). Smith added 11 grabs for 109 yards on a day when NFL leading rusher Saquon Barkley was limited to 65 yards on 19 carries.

The Steelers (10-4) have lost 11 consecutive road games in this Pennsylvania rivalry, with their last win in Philadelphia coming in 1965.

Yet despite losing for just the second time in nine games, Pittsburgh still clinched a playoff berth courtesy of losses by the Miami Dolphins and Indianapolis Colts.

Russell Wilson completed 14 of 22 passes for 128 yards and one touchdown for the Steelers, who were held to 163 yards of offense by Philadelphia’s No. 1 defense.

Hurts and Brown were on the same page early, hooking up four times for 48 yards in the first quarter. Their 5-yard touchdown connection put the Eagles up 10-3 with 1:13 left in the quarter.

Hurts’ 2-yard strike to Smith pushed the lead to 17-3 with 9:07 remaining in the second quarter.

Pittsburgh didn’t pick up a first down until its sixth possession. That drive ended with Wilson’s 9-yard TD pass to Pat Freiermuth to pull within 17-10 with 2:34 until halftime.

CARDINALS 30, PATRIOTS 17: James Conner rushed for 110 yards and two touchdowns Sunday as the Arizona Cardinals stayed in the NFC West race with a 30-17 win over the New England Patriots in Glendale, Ariz. Conner blew it open in the fourth quarter with a pair of 1-yard scores as Arizona (7-7) snapped a three-game losing streak. Quarterback Kyler Murray completed 23 of 30 passes for 224 yards as the Cardinals outgained New England 395-311. Rookie quarterback Drake Maye hit 19 of 23 passes for 202 yards with a touchdown and an interception for the Patriots, who fell to 3-11.

BUCCANEERS 40, CHARGERS 17: Wide receiver Mike Evans notched two second-half touchdowns to lead visiting Tampa Bay’s 40-17 rout over the offensively inept Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.

The often-injured Evans caught scoring passes of 57 and 35 yards as the Buccaneers outscored the Chargers 27-0 in the second half. Tampa Bay (8-6) remained atop the NFC South with second-place Atlanta (6-7) set to play at Las Vegas on Monday.

The back-sliding Falcons swept the Buccaneers this season, however, and hold the first tie-breaker. Tampa Bay won its fourth consecutive game. The Chargers fell to 8-6 but held the sixth wild-card spot in the AFC. They face seventh-seeded Denver on Thursday. Evans finished with 159 yards on nine catches.

Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield went 22-for-27 passing for 288 yards and four touchdowns. The punchless LA offense lost one of its calling cards in the second half, too. Quarterback Justin Herbert’s streak of 357 consecutive passes without an interception ended in the third quarter as he battled a lingering ankle injury and withering pressure.
