Good Vibes Nutrition
Good Vibes Nutrition has opened a second location at 112 N. Broadway Ave., which was previously the creative cafe Even More location.
Owner Angela Arnold said both locations are operational, but the fate of the 1725 S. Beckham’s address is uncertain. The property at this location is due for demolition around June.
Arnold says if the new location is well received, there is potential for a second store.
Even More

7 Brew
Another 7 Brew celebrated its grand opening Aug. 17 by donating $2,000 to Christus Trinity Mother Frances Health System.
The new drive-thru beverage service opened at 4020 S. Broadway Ave. in Tyler.
7 Brew serves espresso-based coffee, chillers, teas, infused energy, sodas, and more, all with a boost of kindness from its Brew Crew. The concept stared in Rogers, Arkansas with seven original coffee flavors, the website reads.
7 Brew’s menu features, “The Seven Originals,” including the Blondie, Brunette and Triple 7, available iced, hot or as chillers, They also offer lattes, mochas and breves, plus a range of non-coffee options, with 30 syrups and milk alternatives.
Cafe 1948
The downtown coffee shop, Cafe 1948, at 110 N. College Ave. is temporarily closed. A sign on the door from the building owner cited failure to pay rent.
Taqueria Flor de Taxco
Taqueria Flor de Taxco is expanding to open a second location in Tyler, Taqueria Flor de Taxco #2. The new location, at 3014 Old Henderson Hwy., opened Aug. 17.
There will be new items on the menu, including seafood options.
Its hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday from 7 a.m. to noon, Saturday from 7 a.m. to 1 a.m., and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Which Wich
Both Which Wich locations in Tyler have shut down. The Dallas-based chain restaurant specializes in sandwich and salads. Owned by Stephen and Shelby Wagner, the locations opened in 2018 and 2021.
Jack in the Box
All Jack in the Box locations in Tyler except for the 1703 S. Broadway Ave. locations are closed.
Tyler Thrift
After five years, Tyler Thrift will move to a new location at 2515 E Fifth St. The thrift and consignment store has outgrown its small space, at 1700 SSE Loop 323 Suite 302, and will be upsizing from 1,700 square feet to 4,200 square feet.
The last day at the current location was Friday, Sept. 6. Opening day at the new space is set for Sept. 14.
Putt Putt Golf & Games
Putt-Putt Golf & Games in Tyler officially closed on Aug. 4. after roughly 64 years of business.
Crews were working to remove materials from the business and sell some items.
According to a permit filing at the business’ address, a new development of a Holiday Inn Express will be coming to 2315 East Southeast Loop 323. Genecov, which is Putt Putt’s landlord, is listed as the project owner.
Hidden Julz
Hidden Julz permanently closed its storefront doors Aug. 30.
Hidden Julz, located at 16700 Old Jacksonville Highway, Suite 400, provided boutique-quality merchandise without the boutique pricing.
