At the Emmy Awards on this date in 1975, Marshall native Susan Howard was a nominee for her role on the TV series “Petrocelli.”

Howard grew up in Marshall as Jeri Lynn Mooney and attended the University of Texas before moving to California and pursuing an acting career.

From the late 1960s through the 1980s, she had numerous roles. She is best known for playing Donna Culver on the hit “Dallas.”
