Tisa Hibbs, who lives in Tyler and occasionally has worked as an actress, had her most visible role in the hit movie “Hope Floats,” which was released on this day in 1998.

Hibbs shared a scene with the film’s star, Sandra Bullock. The romantic comedy was directed by Longview native Forest Whitaker.

Hibbs also has had guest roles on “Friday Night Lights’ and “Walker, Texas Ranger.”
