Tyler Police say they have arrested a third suspect who was involved in the PT Cole Park shooting.

The suspect is identified as Ke'AvierĀ Jarrod Wilson-Herd, 20, of Tyler. Wilson-Herd was identified as the shooter who was in PT Cole Park and fired numerous rounds at the other two men who have been arrested.

On Thursday night at 11:47 p.m., officers responded to the intersection of TrezevantĀ and N. Grand on a man standing in the roadway waving a gun around. Officers located the man and weapon, and identified him as Wilson-Herd. He was placed under arrest for Unlawful Carrying Weapon.

Investigators were notified of the arrest and secured an arrest warrant for murder on Wilson-Herd. Investigators placed the charge of murder on Wilson-Herd while he remained in custody at Smith County Jail. Honorable Judge Jack Skeen set his bond at $1 million.
