The lineup for speakers at this year's Leadercast on Friday will run the gamut of leadership experts.

Executives, consultants, authors and others will join former first lady Laura Bush to speak to audiences in Tyler and across the world via telecast. The Tyler Area Chamber of Commerce and Leadership Tyler are partnering for the second year to bring the event to Green Acres Baptist Church CrossWalk Conference Center at 1607 Troup Highway.

More than one hundred tickets remained on Friday, but last year's event sold out, and two hundred more tickets were made available this year than last. They can be purchased at until they sell out — or the morning of Leadercast.

Investigators looking into why eight circus acrobats plummeted to the ground during an aerial hair-hanging stunt have found that a clamp snapped, a public safety official said Monday.

Three of the acrobats remained in critical condition Monday morning. Several performers on the ground also were injured. None of the injuries appear to be life-threatening, according to Stephen Payne, a spokesman for Feld Entertainment, the parent company of Ringling Brothers.

Investigators from the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration are probing Sunday's accident, along with local authorities.

The act is part of the "Legends" show, during which performers hang "like a human chandelier" using their hair.
